It depends upon the type of output you are trying to create. If you are creating WinHelp, you may be thinking of a non-scrolling region.

For HTML-based Help, you can do this with CSS. Look at page 20 in this doc: http://www.clickstart.net/presentations/cssforhelp_writersua07.pdf

All,
I have used RoboHelp on and off for many years. I remember there used to be a way (some time ago...not sure how long) to set up a topic heading to remain visible if a topic was long and required the user to scroll. The idea was that the user would then remember which topic he was in without having to scroll up.

Does anyone know if that feature is still available in RoboHelp 8? I realize we have breadcrumbs and such, but those disappear along with headers and topic headings when you scroll. Or maybe there's a way to set one of those to remain visible when a user scrolls down in a long topic...

Please respond to me directly as well as to the list as I'm on digest.
