This is a rather different project from authoring help systems. This is a
new authoring project.

If you have, what sort of simple top points would you recommend a tech
writer should look out for.
How would you approach or start preparing for a franchise operations manual?

Its a bit of policy and procedures writing - like the presentation by
Raymond Urgo on the recent madcap webinars. They had a website which
I checked out as well. Some nice, concise, resources.
I am currently using google to source out samples of franchise ops manuals.
To get a feel of how it reads.
