Your "Well Done" File

So sorry. No matter how often I set Verizon webmail to Plain Text, it switches back to, evidently, the formatting of the last post I responded to. I am slowly training myself to check the setting every time, but I missed it this last time.

OK, so, my topic was, do you have file in which you store complimentary notes on reviews? I do; it's at home, since as a contractor I change employers so frequently. I look at it when I need reassurance that someone other than fellow tech writers values what I do.

My favorite item in it is a post-it note that came back to me unintentionally. An editor (yes, this was at a company that had editors) had passed my document on to another editor and her note said, "Sorry this is such a rush; the upside is that she's the best of the bunch." In the context, it was clear that "she" referred to me.

Anyway, I just got a very nice "Brava" from a reviewer.

Do you have a "Well Done" file or something similar? What do you have in it? Does it improve your morale?
