I'm sure the GUI design folks at M$ have a term for it. Searching online
might yield an electronic copy of the *Microsoft Manual of Style for
Technical Publications*.
I'd also cross-post at Woody's Lounge (
http://www.askwoody.com/askforhelp.php) in one of the OS-specific forums.

You might also fill in this form:
