Nancy, your post was even more hilarious than the link to the article, but a
comment raised a serious issue for other users of Microsoft software, and
possibly medical risks (altho that might be a stretch). But it's definitely
something that people should watch for when using any type of database.
In case you and others aren't aware, I've attached the link to the article.
Briefly, some gene workers realized that artifacts of Excel cause gene names
to be changed when they're put in a spread sheet. They've come up with
fixes.
