Hi, Melissa. Once in a great while, I have had similar experiences while
interviewing. I have always suspected that some misguided person in the
hiring company was hoping to get some tech writing for free. I always
politely refused and looked elsewhere.
Maybe I missed out on a chance for a good contract, but I seriously
doubt it.
