Can I put a link in an email to a specific place in a PDF?
Subject:Can I put a link in an email to a specific place in a PDF? From:John Posada <jposada99 -at- gmail -dot- com> To:List, Techwriter <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Fri, 30 Jan 2009 12:31:52 -0500
Hi, guys...I have a requirement to send an email to a group of people,
and in that email, put links not only to a PDF on a web site, but to
the specific heading in the PDF. The placement of the PDF can be
defined, as it will be on a wb site that I control.
What do I have to build into the PDF, which is created in InDesign
CS3, to be able to recognize it in a URL.
Thanks
