Haven't needed to get up to speed quickly yet, John, but in the old days when I used Quark, I came across some great resources by Anne-Marie (Her Geekness) Concepcion, who is also quite knowledgeable about Indy, as I recall. Her web site is http://www.senecadesign.com/ and you'll likely want to check out http://www.senecadesign.com/designgeek/indesign.html.

Subject: Getting started with InDesign
Hi, guys...one of the things I want to do while I'm between gigs is to get up to speed with Adobe's ID. I have the software, CS3.
When I needed to do this with FM, I used the Cookbook to go from exercise to exercise and by the end of the weekend, was self-sufficient. I'd like to do the same with ID.
For those of you who needed to get up to speed quickly, what resources did you use to accomplish that?
