Re: System for naming graphics files

I do a LOT of this (last year I took nearly 11K photos...)

I follow this format:

date_brief-description_version.###

For example:

10109_woman-on-nye_1b.jpg

I try to keep it all in lower case and simple enough to know exactly what it
is by looking at it. I use the date first in order to (hopefully) effect the
order in which they're listed on my hard drive.
