Ja, auf Deutsch muss man eine grosse Buchstabe schreiben. Das
Instrument. Die Geraete. Das Whatever.

But in English I would not use a capital letter unless directed to do so
by marketing, by legal, or by the owner of the business. If you
encounter resistance from some other department, escalate or capitulate
as you feel best.

Danish got rid of capitalized nouns about 110 years ago, and English
about 110 or more years before that. Even German may crumble--in the
informality of the internet I've noticed a tendency to say "Du" instead
of "Sie" (for "you") to any and everyone. Nouns may be next.
