Would you illustrate this with an example?
The lessons I've learned that remain in the foreground at work all
strongly suggest that one can never count on an ideal situation, where
everyone fits in, yet the work must get done.
We, more than most groups, cross the borders between office cultures and
groups. We have to be able to shift gears and accomodate the ways other
teams work, but I'm not sure that amounts to fitting in much beyond
exhibiting the standard courtesies like staying on the paths and not
climbing fences, or vice versa for "bad dog" groups and cultures.
