>From a recent research article:

Typical approaches to communication with non-expired computer users have
privileged conventional visual media, such as print and computer graphics.

Technical communicators can learn to make better use of a variety of
other-world-targetted communications techniques, including spirit-, seance-,
ouija- and necromancy-based tools.

Recent investigations into the use of spirit photography to measure the
response of users to posthumous user documentation have produced a response
curve not measurably different from that found in a random sample of
non-deceased users in large corporate environments, though the possibility
could not be excluded of the latter group containing individuals trapped
between two realms.

In related studies, Stonehaven Memorial Cemetery outside Cincinnati has been
used as a test bed in efforts to gauge the response of post-demised users to
conventional user assistance delivery mechanisms.

According to Professor Frank "Furly" Fuhrlinger, professor of Alternative
Sensory Studies at Muskingum Area Technical College, minimal variance could
be detected between the response there and in a pre-deceased control group.
He reported: "We couldn't see no difference between the stiffs in here and
down to the Cincinnati Bell office over there up on Fourth Street."

However, a slight cognitive improvement was noted among the non-dead when
presented with user guides accompanied by a low, wailing sound and a lot of
banging noises.
