I have a document with several hundred linked images.
Document is in Word97-2003 format (.doc).
I'm using Word 2007 as is my client.

When I copy my source document and images folder into a temporary
location on my system, and then open the document, I see all the images.
When my client does the same thing, he gets the 'red x' for all of the
images.

I had him do an 'update fields' on the entire document, only thing it
did was reduce the amount of space allocated to the red x. (image is
normally 3 inches high in a table cell, not it is half that size).

I've been trying to google for an explanation (yes, I used google as a
verb :-), but have not struck gold yet... and they need to work with the
document asap.

Any suggestions?
