The thing is that our tool is not screen capturing utility but a
help authoring tool. So, annotated screenshots are considered as parts
of a software manual and they are stored together with meta data:
sizes, positions of controls, callout maps, label texts, descriptions
and etc.
When a user needs to update the screen s\he replaces just the
underlying bitmap picture while all meta data are kept.
