I find the SnagIt 9 ribbon less irritating, I mean intimidationg, than
Microsoft's due to the fact that they have a semi tour of the interface
here:

Also, I believe this link helped locate items from 8 to 9.

interface was not so bad for me when I upgraded and I did not use it that
much yet.

I also concur that the new multiple images editor is jsut what I have been
looking for.   Tagging and Search seems like it would be a neat feature to
use too...   I have not seen any of the issues reported previously nor have
I heard whether they have been fixed or not, but my use has been basic and
infrequent and just as successful as with 8.
