I've never seen this convention, but I've had to deal the long link and path
issues.  When there are multiple options or a list of links or paths, the
broken path becomes an issue because it can look like a separate option.  

This method of indenting each part of the path makes sense to me because it
is clear that the indented part belongs to the part above, which belongs to
the part above it.

I guess I'll add this one to my assortment of preferred conventions.
