If the typical online postings I see from people in
Gen Y are any indication, before they can move into
management they're going to need remedial English
instruction.

Documentation still addresses the lowest common
denominator. What changes is what that represents.
Compared to 20 years ago, today it's usually a higher
level of skill with regard to the hands-on use of GUIs
but a lower level of general reading comprehension.
