Here at the office, I received a new DELL computer with monitor,
keyboard, etc. a few weeks ago.

Accompanying the components were a couple of copies of a not-so-slim
paperback novel entitled
"Dell Computers and Monitors
Product Information Guide"

This fabulous (and weighty) tome turned out to be page after page of
warnings, disclaimers, agency notices, etc., repeated in multiple
languages.
>From my point of view as a user/customer, there was no actual content.
The monitor did have a glossy one-sheet affair showing
points-of-interest and a couple of instructions. The computer didn't.
There wasn't even anything showing how to open the case or the baby-step
instructions on how to install expansion cards, memory upgrades, etc.
It's no wonder that people don't RTFM.
