Amazing, is all I can say. I'm sure Merriam Webster and I are the odd ones 
out around here, as usual, but here goes anyway:

: the technology involving the development, maintenance, and use of 
computer systems, software, and networks for the processing and 
distribution of data

If someone wants to argue that "Games" or "Desktop" or "CAD/CAM" software 
doesn't "process data", please explain how it manages to work then, 
exactly. How does something that is not data manage to get itself stored 
in your computer (other than dust, hair and sandwich crumbs that is)? It 
will be a revelation.
