Are you an E or E Engineer?
Do you need to be one, to join IEEE?
The closest I can come is a 2400 hour diploma in Electronic Technology
[Digital option] (Technologist was a step up from technician, and a step
down from Engineer) that was outdated before I completed it in 1981...
I thought I needed it _after_ university, in order to become employable
in a field that interested me..., but I wasn't willing to go back (and
deeper in debt) for a full engineering degree - I also have the kind of
skin that printers ink doesn't readily come out of (old engineering
hazing ritual at some schools) :-)
