From what I see here, the fault appears to be with her
manager rather than with general Sun corporate expectations.
For example, she says "At Sun, our team was forced to come
into the office on weekends regardless of whether we still
have work to complete; it was simply to occupy a chair and
be seen by management. Granted, that is probably the extreme,
but it happens."
That has not been my experience at Sun, nor do I think
it is the experience of the writers, which might be why
most of them did not choose to join the lawsuit. Perhaps
the manager from her old company was trying to brown-nose
to look better to Sun management and the writers got
caught in the middle.
