I could use your help in one of our project where we have created
WebHelp (using RoboHelp 7) for our client.
When we had completed with drafting all the contents/topics, we
generated map ID's and shared them with the dev team to integrate our
WebHelp with the application.
The requirement was to have context sensitive help and hence the
Development Team used our Map ID's to call the WebHelp topics.
Initially, we had included only the main topics in the TOC and the
topics that was generated in the WebHelp was working fine. All was
sweetness & light.
But later, the client wanted us to create a sub-book inside each of
the books to list the related topics. Seems reasonable...Yet when we
updated the webhelp with these changes, we are facing some issues.
When we press F1 in the application, the topic opens but the TOC is
not in sync with the topic. The TOC does not expand at all when F1 is
pressed. This issue was not existing before. We have not made any
changes in the settings from what we had created before, we have only
included the related topics. We have tried all possible instances to
resolve this. But we're not sure what is the problem.
When we checked with the development team, they say that they have
called all the topics in their code but even they are not able to
resolve this. Any ideas what might be broken?
TIA,
joe
