OK, I'll bite, if I don't name my heading styles "Heading" how do I
know that I use the style to format my headings?

I've always named template styles after the documentation features
they should be applied to (headings, body text, numbered steps,
bullets, notes, cautions, figure titles, etc.). This not only makes
it easier for me to use the template in my daily work, but makes it
much easier for other writers who might also have to use the template.

And, as you noted, it also makes it much simpler to know which style
you need to edit when you go to modify your template.
