I think it is more of a tradiional smithing process. Forging a strong
mailing list, or a sense of language, or individual relationships, seems
to have something in common with forging and tempering metal. Heat to
color, beat on with great intent, douse in a bucket. While this is the
same process used to recast stolen gold, it does have its legitimate uses.
So does King Of The Mountain, to a goat boy anyway.
