I think this question was intended for me. My best answer is:
1) I don't understand this usage of "rip".
2) I didn't have any desire to discuss automated writing analysis, or to
trigger such a discussion.
Also, if anyone is still trying to understand what I meant by "real word"
in that post, please abandon the search for meaning. (I flatter myself
often in this way.) It was supposed to be "real world".
It is perhaps relevant to this thread that an automated writing analysis
tool would consider "real word" and "real world" equally acceptable in
that sentence, although only one makes any sense.
Or have they improved?
