I agree, you don't need this and should challenge it if a client wants
it. Many years ago, when I was a contractor, a client gave me a bullet
list of requirements their attorney put together, and E&O insurance was
one of them. 

I pointed out to them that I was guaranteeing their satisfaction, that
they were going to review and approve the docs, and that they would have
to indemnify me against any errors that _they_approved_. They dropped
the E&O requirement. 

But they still insisted that I carry worker's comp insurance, even
though being the owner/pres. of my company made me ineligible to ever
collect on the policy. Talk about a low-risk, high-profit policy for the
insurance company!
