Wow, what a period that has been. When I joined in 1993, the WWW was
almost unheard of.
I used to have to read the list via bitserver. Most of the highlights
of my career as a tech writer
are recorded in the lists archives (Internet, the Web, IETM, HyTime,
XML, Wiki) ... I wonder
what the next 15 years will bring - but I hope that techwr-l will be
there to witness it.
