Re: Words with double meanings

What did the original question actually need--a list of words that sound 
like others, or (more likely) a list of words that have some meaning you 
would prefer not to raise in the reader's mind? Like when you write 
about geology you have to watch out for the schist, because some people 
think it's not gneiss.

I'm always watching for wrong words that are correctly spelled, such as, 
"Mumbletown Pubic Library."
