Some, including managers, consider technical writing to be the stuff of
fiction. The mindset goes something like this:

--> Don't know what this part does? Make something up. Doesn't matter.

--> No one reads the help / manual anyway, but we're contratually
obligated to provide one.

To some people, technical writing is on par with creative writing.
That's what I meant.
