I know there's an STC (Society for Technical Communication) chapter in the
UK. That is a good source for finding jobs in the TW field. Here's the
information from www.stc.org.
Location: London, United Kingdom
President: Nick D. Rosenthal

I'm an active member of the Phoenix, AZ chapter and 95% of my jobs over the
last 6 years have come through the organization and people I've met at
meetings. I'm a freelancer, but there are often folks with captive jobs.

Hi
The reason I ask, is that in the searches I have done for Tech jobs,
there seems to be very few. From one of the stats sites I used, it said
that the number of jobs posted has dropped since last year. The jobs
are permanent though, so are contract positions more readily
available?
