Creativity is creativity, and I know lots of "techies" (programmers as well

Musical ability is not a surprising companion to the math and science
leanings of your basic shoebox technical writer.
As to whether banjo playing counts as music, I decline to join into that
debate. Got my own problems on that "score" -- I play fiddle, classical
violin, djembe, zither, and mouth harp. Don't be impressed; it's only one
at a time.
