(Gene correctly reveals Jim Barrow's problem as coming from
Scott Adams' world.)

Indeed, I predicted this just a couple of days ago. Looks like
my prognostication was too little, too late.

Jim, here's what you do:
1) Enthusiastically support the idea of customer feedback.
2) Allow the wiki to be constructed, preferably (as suggested)
with a disclaimer.
3) Ignore the wiki and go get your work done.

No one in your position can possibly afford to manage the wiki.
Let it sink by itself. If it somehow turns out to be a Force For
Good, so be it. More than likely it will be ingored after a few
early-adopters have fiddled with it for a while. It will still
exist two or three years from now, but the content will remain
as it was in Feb 08. (Look at all the businesses out there with
web pages unchanged since 1997 or 2003.)
