TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
If *you* don't want to help them, that's fine. Some of us can still
remember the last century, when we were newbies and there were folks
with enough intelligence and generosity to help us out.
(Proviso 1: I draw the line at those who are obviously posting their
homework assignments.)
(Proviso 2: Sometimes, "Google the archives, Noob!" counts as helping
someone.)
It might surprise you to learn that even an expert can occasionally be
clueless. But in any case, no one who posts here is "worthless." That
word is appropriate for technologies, not people.
Happy Tuesday,
Dan
