The US e-membership fee works out to around $14 a month.
I think I waste more than that on several magazines it takes
me months to get around to reading.

OTOH, since I'm now living more than 40 miles from the
meeting place for the nearest chapter and am spending
less than 20% of my time doing hands-on writing, maybe
I should try claiming that I'm "retired" as a writer... :)
