Shoot, Lisa! You're right. That site correctly identifies what qualifies
as an interjection, but even though the site authors have their parts of
speech right, their use of direct address is wrong. Good help is hard to
find. :)

Jim, the sample you referenced for the interjection "Hello" seems to
lend credence to the other camp as follows:
hello, hullo | expressing greeting | "Hello John. How are you today?"
I was expecting to see "Hello, John. How..." in support of your and
Fred's convincing arguments.
Nevertheless, thanks everyone! I can say that I'm better informed on
both forms of usage.
