To Zen's question on fonts...

I suppose it depends on what you're looking for, but I'm a big fan of
http://www.dafont.com .  A large collection of fonts, most of them free
(some have restrictions such as "free for personal use").  I will add the
caveat that usually when I'm looking for fonts beyond what came with the
computer, it's usually for "interesting" ones suitable for titles in less
formal writing--a Medieval-style calligraphy font, for example.  (I put
together a monthly newsletter for a medieval/renaissance re-creation group.)
So, I couldn't say how useful the site is for more "serious" fonts.  But,
they seem to have a wide selection in a variety of styles.
