1.  Write down the major points that make your current employee a good
fit.  

2.  If both of you are comfortable about it, brainstorm with them about
the best qualities for a new person to fit within the team.  (i.e.,
_engage_ the other team member into the selection process without giving
up your identity as manager).

3.  Prioritize the brainstorm list.

4.  Stay flexible.
