Paying attention to efficiency can reduce every situation to the point
where regular OT is not needed. It isn't difficult to do, but I think
for many the "cred" of extra OT or bowing to incompetent management
outweighs this fact. Oh well -- as you said, to each their own; but in
the end, one will be right.
