I just moved out of the Bay Area a few months ago for family
relocation reasons. During the last four-fice years I up there I
worked for three different companies, two of which were the
result of companies calling me out of the blue, and since I left
the last one to come down here I've gotten two calls from
others that haven't heard yet that I've left. So based solely
on my personal experience I'd have to say the landscape up
there is pretty good. But that's just one data point.
