Based on my experience with multiple startups, my guess is that
the company will not have answers for your questions 2, 3 and 4.
You should go to the interview prepared to discuss how *you*
will make the necessary assessments, and what training and
tools you consider essential for you to be able to evaluate and
meet their needs.

I would also ask about the company's strategic plan for reaching
profitability and maturity. A small startup may be reluctant to
discuss theirs with a candidate in any detail, but they should at
least be able to tell you with a straight face that they have one.
