FrameMaker Conditional Text issue

Windows XP 
FM 7.0 

I have lots of conditional text in my FM document. I've color coded the 
conditional text for emphasis. I'm able to see the colored conditional 
text when I turn it on and off in the individual document, however, the 
color is stripped (turned to black) when I turn on/off conditional text at 
the book level via Show/Hide conditional text. When I go into the 
individual file, the color indicator dialog still shows that the 
conditional text should be in the specified color but it's not showing 
that way. 

Any ideas?
