Hi Joe:

When I worked in a scientific R&D facility, our standards required a space
between the number and the unit.

TI used to have an in-house style guide for publications, but it might be
owned by Marketing rather than the tech area. Maybe you could check around.

I did some contracting with them in the early 80's in Dallas.
