Based on my nine years in Japan, I'd say that "Ms.
So-And-So" would work fine. I doubt that your target
would expect you to know or understand Japanese
protocol.

Of course, you could make more of an adventure of it
and try using some Japanese. That would be consistent
with the advice here:
