Framemaker to Word and back to Framemaker?

I have just heard about a contract position to create Framemaker documents,
convert them to Word, and then convert them back to Framemaker.

This is a new one on me.

Does anyone know why anyone would *want* to do that? I am mainly curious,
as I have never worked in a Frame shop where we did this, except to convert
the documents over to Word because they were going to stop using Frame
altogether.

If anyone is interested in a contract position doing work like that (it's in
Florida), let me know and I will pass along the information off list.
