PITA versus DITA?

I was hanging out at the water cooler earlier, and
overheard two of the more experienced writers talking
about single-sourcing. They were praising something
called "PITA," which apparently is a bigger category
that is going to replace DITA. Should I continue to
learn DITA, or should I move on to PITA, since that's
the next wave?
