Hi,
I wanted to thank all of you who responded to my query today.
I, however, would appreciate more responses. All replies point to the use of DocBook.
Looks like FrameMaker for Linux is not an option considering that there was no release after the beta version release of FrameMaker 5.5.
Looks like creating the necessary output and thereby tweaking XSL and CSS files remain the main challenges while creating HTML /java Help.
I want to thank Brett and Chris in particular for the advise and suggestions.
Thanks,
Dishaa
