I prefer PDF. Word files can be infected with macro
virii and are prone to flaking out in certain
situations. They also require the customer to have
Word or a Word viewer (or some gawdawful interpreter
like Open Office). Since many of our customers are on
UNIX machines or Macs, or use them as secondary
machines, it seems uncharitably biased toward a
Windows environment to use .doc files.
