When I work with new writers, I coach them to start all their sentences with
"You can...". After a few weeks writing that way, we work on variations.

It's not possible to write passive voice with sentences that start with "You
can..." Not everything should be written in active voice but training
yourself to write that way makes the passive times obvious. It also makes
you write user centric docs, not feature or product centric docs.
