I have the reverse problem. The new developer assigned to the project
decided to change of buttons, screens, dialogs, functions, and many other
items. Yeah, they work, but, it has added hours and $$$ to the documentation
update. The customer will not be happy because they are used to XYZ, not MOP
and so forth.
The developer got beat up at a document review meeting last week by the lead
engineer, customer representative, and customer support. Now the software is
being "revised" for the umpteenth time, the delivery date is way past being
blown, and I'll have to double and triple check the names of everything.
