I've only resolved similar problems with Open Office. If the document still
has data, then Open Office should still be able to open it. Check the file
size. It should have the size of a 300 page document and not be just 1K.
If it is small, then your file probably got hosed during a save and there
isn't much hope for your copy of the document.
